As the festive season approaches and the nights become longer, it's time for I'm A Celebrity to return. Speculation is already rife about which celebrities will be trading their luxurious lifestyles for a stint in the jungle.
Rumoured participants include a former X Factor judge, a recent addition to the Loose Women panel, and a football legend turned TV pundit.
With the countdown to Christmas underway and Strictly Come Dancing already on our screens, it won't be long before Ant and Dec are back Down Under, guiding a new batch of stars from the red carpet to the jungle camp. The show first aired on ITV in 2002, with radio DJ Tony Blackburn winning the first series.
Past winners have included Matt Willis, Kerry Katona, Georgia Toffolo, Scarlett Moffatt, and Vicky Pattison.
Last year, bookies were certain that Sam Thompson, formerly of Made in Chelsea, would be named King of the Jungle. Following I'm A Celebrity's win in the Best Entertainment category at this year's National Television Awards, speculation is growing about who might join the camp in 2024, according to Glasgow Live, reports the Manchester Evening News.
From an X Factor favourite and chart-topping artist to a social media sensation, a Love Island finalist involved in a high-profile split, and a Top Gear legend, here are the latest rumours about the line-up for I'm A Celebrity 2024.
Ally McCoist.
Rumours about the upcoming I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
lineup are flying thick and fast, and the most recent speculation suggests former Rangers and Scotland player, now a popular ITV commentator, Ally McCoist, may be heading for the jungle. Chronicle Live reports that he nearly joined the show two years back but decided against it at the eleventh hour.
A source close to the matter has suggested we might just see Ally taking on the jungle this time. They shared, "Ally has such a huge fan base thanks to his years of commentating and punditry, plus his long stint on A Question of Sport. He'd be great for the jungle - as his wife and kids have been telling him forever - so everyone is really hopeful that this will be the year."

In other news, Tulisa Contostavlos, once a member of N-Dubz and renowned for her role as an X Factor judge in 2011, is also thought to be in the running for a spot in the jungle. Despite being less visible in recent times, another insider has endorsed her chances due to her varied past, commenting, "Tulisa's diverse career makes her a strong contender for I'm A Celebrity because she appeals to a wide audience."
An insider revealed: "Fans from her X Factor days know her well, and the N-Dubz tour has introduced her to a younger generation, especially through platforms like TikTok. ITV is particularly excited about her new following among 16 to 24-year-olds, and hopes the deal is finalised soon."
Jeremy Clarkson.
TV buffs are eager to see former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
after The Grand Tour wrapped up. Lee Astley, spokesperson for betideas.com, commented: "Following the final episode of The Grand Tour, people are wondering where Jeremy Clarkson will appear on our screens next, and a stint in the Jungle on I'm a Celebrity looks a likely destination."
He further stated, "Clarkson has been on plenty of excursions through deserts and jungles, hence why he's as short as 3/1 to appear in the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity later this year."
GK Barry.
Social media sensation GK Barry, famed for her massive following on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, recently joined the Loose Women panel. At just 25 years old, Grace Keeling, better known as GK, became part of the ITV discussion show earlier this year.
She's also recognised for her popular podcast Saving Grace and a successful live tour with the same name, not to mention her participation in the spine-chilling Channel 4 reality show Don't Look Down last year.
Tommy Fury.
Boxer and former Love Island contestant Tommy Fury, recently in the news after ending his engagement with Molly Mae Hague, is now being tipped for a stint in the jungle on 'I'm A Celebrity'. Comments from a Ladbroke's spokesperson added fuel to the fire of speculation: "Reality TV chiefs will surely be queuing up to snap up Molly-Mae or Tommy following their shock split, and the odds suggest the latter could well be jungle-bound later this year."
Phillip Schofield
Television presenter Phillip Schofield has been at the centre of media storms following his dramatic departure from 'This Morning' and ITV last year, admitting he had an 'unwise but not illegal' relationship with a younger colleague. He made a media comeback last week on Channel 5's 'Castaway', challenging himself to survive alone on a deserted island.
Despite the stir his return caused, Phillip has been explicit about his future intentions regarding ITV, stating forthrightly that he will 'never work with ITV again. '.
Giovanni Pernice.
Professional dancer Giovanni Pernice is conspicuously missing from the latest series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'. This follows claims of bullying from Amanda Abbington, his previous dance partner on the show.
Giovanni has strongly refuted these accusations.
An ITV insider has revealed: "As long as those at the top are satisfied that Giovanni isn't a bully and didn't behave inappropriately during Strictly, they will be signing him up. They are very aware of how much Strictly viewers will miss him, he's a true fans' favourite, so they hope he will draw in big audiences."
Giovanni first charmed the Strictly dance floor back in 2015, consistently reaching the final and triumphantly won the glitter ball trophy with Rose Ayling-Ellis last year.
Coronation Street's beloved Alan Halsall, known for playing Tyrone Dobbs, had been a name previously bandied around for I'm A Celebrity, though an injury reportedly scuppered his chances last minute. Now fighting fit, he's hotly tipped at odds of 1/2 to trek to the jungle by Betting Lounge, following decades on the cobbles since joining in the late '90s, where his character has been central to many pivotal plots, not least being victimised by former fiancee Kirsty.
